This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous follows the rise of transgender YouTube personality Gigi Gorgeous. Born Gregory Gorgeous, she enjoyed success as a champion diver before announcing her transition from male to female. Gigi decided to share her entire experience on YouTube, from coming out to undergoing surgery. The documentary features interviews with Gigi’s friends and family, including their reactions to the news and struggles with supporting her transition.

The film explores both the transgender experience as well as the importance of self-acceptance and familial love. Clips from Gigi’s YouTube channel provide an additional ‘meta-documentary’. The clips follow Gigi’s initial makeup tutorials, as well as her realization that she is transgendered. They offer her own perspective on life as a transgender woman and her desire to help others going through a similar journey.
