This Is Everything: Gigi Gorgeous follows the rise of transgender YouTube personality Gigi Gorgeous. Born Gregory Gorgeous, she enjoyed success as a champion diver before announcing her transition from male to female. Gigi decided to share her entire experience on YouTube, from coming out to undergoing surgery. The documentary features interviews with Gigi’s friends and family, exploring their reactions to the news and the challenges they faced in supporting her transition.

The film explores the transgender experience, as well as the importance of self-acceptance and familial love. Clips from Gigi’s YouTube channel provide an additional “meta-documentary” layer. These clips follow her early make-up tutorials, as well as her realisation that she is transgender. They offer Gigi’s own perspective on life as a transgender woman and her desire to help others who are going through a similar journey.
