Divorce Corp, however, goes beyond these familiar statistics to address corruption and greed in one of the fastest-growing court systems.

More than fifty billion dollars flow through family courts in a single year, and the documentary examines the practical realities of moving such vast sums of money in such a short period of time.

Divorce Corp, from filmmaker Joseph Sorge, pays close attention to the impact of divorce on affected children. In many cases, children are torn away from one parent or the other, or removed from their homes entirely, and the film does not hesitate to show this reality in all its painful, honest truth.
