After Porn Ends 2 focuses on a broad range of adult industry workers from the 1960s up to the present day that have left the porn business for one reason or another. While the original After Porn Ends documentary took a deep look into the lives of several specific stars, this sequel presents more workers with less in-depth stories.

The filmmakers present each star in such a way as to normalise their work and lives in the industry. Those that appear in the film are not presented as deviants or low class, but as normal people who work in an industry that is often considered far from normal. Interview subjects include women, men, and transgender performers to give a wide look at how porn has evolved over the decades and what is being done to keep it relevant today.
