Cosmos: Possible Worlds

Cosmos: Possible Worlds explores the uncharted realms of space, such as lost worlds and planets that might be future homes for the human race. This documentary explores the possibilities of what is out in the cosmos that may one day support intelligent life, human or otherwise.

Neil deGrasse Tyson returns as host after the success of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, alongside Ann Druyan, the original creative collaborator with Carl Sagan, and executive producer Seth MacFarlane. Together, they form a team of some of the best science communicators of the modern era, coming together to explore what possible life may exist beyond Earth.

The series asks the “what if” questions of how humans will adapt to the constant changes on Earth and within the galaxy, what other intelligent life might be like, and what might happen when humans inevitably need to leave Earth behind and begin somewhere new.
