Our Planet travels across the Earth’s vast ecosystems, showcasing the biodiversity present and examining the anthropogenic effects on each.

Narrated by David Attenborough, the beauty and breathtaking span of diversity found on Earth are revealed. Segmented by region, eight vastly different areas of the world come to light, including deserts, seas, jungles, polar ice caps, forests, and more. Within each area, native species are followed to better understand their lifestyles.

Amid the true beauty of nature, a stark examination of humanity’s footprint is presented. From global warming and deforestation to poaching, the burden animals, plants, and other living things bear at the expense of human activity is revealed in an uncomfortable light. These comparisons are made with an ultimately uplifting message and a sense of optimism for the future.
